Introduction

Apart from Science the only way to describe something that it can’t be described is music. This irresistible power of this art to convey feelings, thought and emotions is what fascinates all of us. On hearing of a simple melody we can be happy or sad, we can remember or hurt. Undoubtedly therefore, the essential «tool» for creating «emotions» is music. Michael is one of those who describe music more like an «expression tool» rather than a «tool of entertainment».

The Early Days (His Past)

He was born and raised in Athens (Greece). Despite the close relation of his family with music his involvement with it found him because of an «accident» at the age of 7 where he had his first classical piano lessons. He finished his musical studies earning many awards and honors while at the same he completed choir, music theory and harmony courses.

He studied Computer Science at the American College of Greece but eventually he chosen the industry of music and entertainment where he did his first steps by learning from older DJs or performing on small clubs and bars.

The Big Project

His passion and enthusiasm for the world of entertainment led him to create his personal project called «The Party Makers». This was an idea of his close friend and partner Tasos Alexiades according to which the Party Makers was a «team» of DJs who would share the same philosophy and view about music and entertainment. The main goal of the Party Makers was to provide an integrated form of entertainment consisting of polymorphic DJ Sets in combination with premium visual effects and lighting shows, always having as their priority to provide high quality entertainment and satisfaction to their audience.

The Party Makers didn’t need many years to evolve and grow. New members were added, while new collaborations where done. Their passion and clear goals provided them the opportunity to participate in large events in Greece, as well as abroad with remarkable success.

The best highlight of their route was their participation in regional happenings of the Beijing Olympic Games in August 2008, where they undertaken the music support for various event in honor of the Greek delegation.

Along with the numerous events and parties, Michael and «The Party Makers» were participating constantly in world-wide exhibitions, tradeshows and seminars (Plasa Show Londing, BPM Expo Birmingham, Pro Show Istanbul, Musikmesse Frankfurt etc) having always as a primary ingredient of their success the constant development in terms of music and entertainment.

The shift

Shortly before the end of 2009, the mission of the «Party Makers» project comes to an end, finding Michael facing new opportunities and prospects. In the spring of that year he performs in events for the Eurovision Song Contest Greek attendants. A year later on May 2010, he performs once again for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, Norway.

The Latest Days (The Present)

Currently, Michael takes part in events of DKNY in Europe and America, composes music for theater and television, while lectures  in seminars and tutoring workshops on DJ Performance Skills.
